Spring Summer 2017 Shanghai Fashion Week | Those glorious young faces

During the fashion week of Shanghai Fashion Week in spring and summer 2017, we saw these cutting-edge original designers, unique spirits, and powerful personality strengths. They became the inspiration for their new series of spring/summer 2017 and they were woven together. The dream of fashion is shining on their respective T stage.

MASHROOM SONG|WMWM

MASHROOM SONG is not the first time to participate in Shanghai Fashion Week. In fact, her first series since returning from London was at Shanghai Fashion Week. Her personal brand, WMWM, is good at catching subtlety in the calm, offering a different style for young women aged 25-35 who know how to record and experience life.

At the Shanghai Fashion Week Label Festival, WMWM not only displayed its 2016AW new product, but also blew out the collection of designer manuscripts and lookbook fabric samples.

Tan Fengyi | FENGYI TAN

"From the unique aesthetic point of view to explore the human body and the relationship between space," is the source of inspiration for Tan Fengyi, but also the brand style of FENGYI TAN. Tan Fengyi hopes to convey emotions through fashion and explore new possibilities of expression in different artistic forms such as video and devices.

In this Shanghai fashion week, FENGYI TAN not only brings costumes to show, but also uses light video and modern art performances to express the relationship between the body and space.

Yan Ying | YINGPEI STUDIO

Ying Ying, who has a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in Women's Clothing at the London Fashion Institute, founded YINGPEI STUDIO, a personal women's clothing brand, in 2014 with passion for design. YINGPEI STUDIO is keen to simplify the complex elements and cleverly integrate with the clothing structure to find the balance between beauty and ease in the design itself.

In Shanghai Fashion Week, Hao Ying exhibited her designer manuscripts, handmade originals, finished printed fabrics and other miracle objects that recorded the story, and released the brand's 2017 spring-summer collection. She said, "Our features are interesting, but at the same time there are real functions, there is a certain amount of emotion, this feeling is not only modern, but also integrated into the past elements, which is our advantage."

王天墨|MuseumofFriendship

Wang Tianmo, a designer who graduated from Central Saint Martins in London, moved back to China last year. The rise of the domestic fashion atmosphere made her exceptionally pleasant. Wang Tianmo said that the way she draws inspiration is very casual, almost every second every day. She prefers to express her childhood and daily traces with surprising manual skills to reflect the emotions of a generation.

Wang Tianmo’s independent brand, Museum of Friendship, released the Spring/Summer 2017 collection at the Shanghai Fashion Week. MOF has tried more design categories such as sportswear and small wedding dresses to accompany the girls through their different growth stages.

Lei Liushu/Jiang Yuxi|SHUSHU/TONG

She has been taught in two stylish cities in Shanghai and London. The designers Lei Liushu and Jiang Yuxi deconstructed the familiar traditional Chinese aesthetics and London street culture. Under the overlap of the self-pursuing aesthetic and Chinese and Western cultures, they established representatives. SHUSHU/TONG, the image of a new street girl.

This time, SHUSHU/TONG even moved the designer's workbench to the site and released the 2017 Spring/Summer series with the theme of "Flower Fairy." The designer said, "We just want to bring youth and attitude to girls who live in whatever age but still have a girl's heart. To put on our clothes is to feel another life."

During the Shanghai Fashion Week, the five design brands made their appearance at the SAMSUNG Fashion House, located in Yuanmingyuan Apartment on the Rock Bund.

In this SAMSUNG Fashion House, you can see a large-scale cross-border exhibition that combines futuristic and technological aesthetics. It is a kind of Presentation that combines the multiple artistic forms of fashion, music, video, and installation.

Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, Gear VR, Gear 360 and other products also serve as witnesses and recorders, making a full shot, capturing the beauty of every detail inside and outside the show floor.

In the works of a new generation of designers, there is always a unique spiritual core and strong individual strength.
