ICICLE 禾 2018 spring new # EARTHMAN # Ketchner puppets

Hi, I'm Kachina. Everyone can call me Krishna. I am the new season of EARTHMAN, we EARTHMAN are the messengers of nature, I am very happy to bring me the spring of 2018!

I come from North America's Hopi, the first Indian tribe to settle in the Americas. The Hopi believe in everything. Whenever there is a cloud over Pingdingshan, which brings rain to nourish the earth, people feel that God is blessing. In fact, it is me. I am connected with natural changes and people's lives, sending my family members good weather, healthy and happy blessings.

At the end of December of each year, when the corn planting season begins, people will wear Krishna masks to greet me in song and dance. By the end of July of next year, the crops will be harvested and everyone will thank me for the help with the harvested food and send me back to rest.

Because only half of the time each year is with the tribe people, they have carved me into different puppets and gave them to children so that they can learn to savor nature from a young age and care about the environment and the surrounding partners.

The Khine puppets hand-carved by the Hopi are used to help children learn to treat nature and the attitudes of others.
